…Σε μια πολυκατοικία ενός αθηναϊκού προαστίου, κατοικούν δυο τυπικές ελληνικές οικογένειες. Η πρώτη του πολιτικού μηχανικού Τέλη Αργυρόπουλου και η δεύτερη του αυταρχικού πατέρα «παλαιών αρχών» Ηλία Πετρίδη. Διατηρούν μαζί τους φιλικές σχέσεις αλλά όταν τα δυο βλαστάρια τους, ο Γιάννης και η Ηρώ ερωτεύονται, μετατρέπονται σε δυο εχθρικά στρατόπεδα και με τις συνεχείς τους παρεμβάσεις προσπαθούν να δυναμιτίσουν το γάμο τους….
